Hello friends,
In recent weeks I’ve talked a lot about songwriting, and how using music as a creative outlet has driven my progress more than anything else. In today’s session I’m going to break-down my top 5 tips for beginner lyricist. We’ll discuss common themes, finding inspiration, rhyming schemes, and story development. Let’s get started!

  1. Here's my lyrics

    (Oh no)
    Here we go again
    (I'm torn)
    Trying to pretend
    (I'll be)
The greatest thing that's ever happened to you
    (That's why we're)
Why we're here again (here we are again)

    Hypnotized
    I got you acting up
    Just from my eyes
    And i'll do it again
    I don't need any price
    I
    I
    I got you hypnotized (hypnotized)

I swore that i heard you the last time
You know that you can't fight it never dies
I'll put you to sleep i can make you a feast
    Oh no
    Oh no

    (Oh no)
    Here we go again
    (I'm torn)
    Trying to pretend
    (I'll be)
The greatest thing that's ever happened to you
    (That's why we're)
Why we're here again (here we are again)

    Keep you intact
I can make you go back
Feel the moment like this is the last

    (Oh no)
    Here we go again
    (Oh no)
    Here we are again

  2. I’ve been taking a stab at lyric writing, and while it is difficult, it isn’t frustratingly difficult. Though one thing I do worry about is that my lyrics will sound like cringe.

  3. For me I just can't find the words to convey the feelings I want to. I just feel lost with how to write up lyrics that flow and sound good.

  4. I’m trying to write a song about chasing sunsets to get the perfect picture. I’m thinking it’s about trying to find belonging but never finding it and constantly passing up amazing ‘photos’ trying to find the perfect one. Therefore missing out on all that life has to offer while trying to achieve the perfect life. Every sunset means days have past, precious time with loved ones, lost for the ‘perfect life’.

  5. My best advice is to get a specific book for it I haven’t been writing songs for long but my songs have more emotion hand written than the do using my phone I’ll even write down a lyric in my phone then wait and write in my book

  6. I have these title for now, i will leave the translation in front of them
1-Medo de dizer que não (afraid to say no)
    2-Usado (used)
    3-Invisível (invisible)
4-congelado e petrificado (frozen and petrified)

  7. Most of the songs written that have become famous are gibberish trash written by morons. Don’t worry about how good of a writer you are. Worry if you know someone in the music business who can help you succeed without talent.
