I've written a few, sorta "Christian rock" just because I would sing in Church and would need new songs to sing, Wrote a Easter song, a Christmas song and a few more. Usually write lyrics 1st
I wanted to ask you a question I have noticed there are some songs that are Christian but it only mentions the Lord one or two times in the song it will thank him by saying thank you but it won't say praise your name or God or him is it okay to say God's name one or two times in a song and it still be considered a Christian song just curious

Its a pleasure to listen to your method – mostly I start with a word or lyricI blessed from God (always Carry a notebook!) and go from there. – I often take a word and use a concordance to see the usage of it in the Bible – thats also been a wonderful way of helping me to read my Bible regularly and often from that word I find a passage or another word that starts me off.
