  8. He’s not the greatest lyricist of all time in dancehall….he’s one of….they’re many other great lyricist in dancehall such as professor nuts..lieutenant stichie and other artist from the 90s who didn’t get a fair chance because of the stigma that goes with being a top artist in dancehall

    So u want to tell me that after PAPA SAN (since his name mentioned the most in the comments) there have yet to be a skilled very lyrical dancehall artist? Oh come on now, give me a break.
    Kartel's catalog of songs doubles PAPA SAN no questions asked. Why would it be so? Because for once he's more of an educated mindset and came into the business when information on worldwide scale is easily accessible.
    He incorporates in his songs Some words never heard or mentioned before by any artist which makes u grab a dictionary to find the meaning.
    Why would RollingStones magazine wrote such an article about him if he wasn't that great?
    His work ethics is unmatched, his lyrical prowess is infectious, he's hated by a lot still yet loved by many. Why is it his name and music is still playing even though he's been locked up for so many years?
    He's been a top ten dancehall artist for the vast majority of his career and you people know these things but just because y'all hate him y'all are afraid to acknowledge him rightfully.
    When Aidonia was talking crap about him saying "he drops the ball" check the tracks he came out with to remind Aidonia of he's talking about. (You want help? One of them is titled The Lyricist)
    Gone are the days of Papa San, The great Professor Nuts, etc but Kartel now holds the title of the most lyrical dancehall artist.
    Next thing I might add….go and listen his album The 'Teacher's Back' and hush up.

I disagree with that 100%, you have the great Papa San would consider him to be the greatest lyricist of all time, the great Terror Faboulous, the great Professor nuts, The great Bounti Killa, Spragga Benz, Baby wayne, just to name a few, , even though i don't think he's even in the top ten, of the greatest, but, that is just my opinion
