  1. Thanks guys! Y’all are my two FAVORITE male voices and writers out there and it’s inspiring to hear from both of you. Lots of food for thought! Love the idea of continuing to write and rewrite even after you’ve already “debuted” it. I had it happen on Easter this year where I really felt like the Lord gave me a song for that morning with those people and it just really didn’t have the effect I was imagining it would, but it’s encouraging to think about not giving up on it and exploring ways to continue writing it with improved ideas!

  2. I led worship for 11 years. It was a highlight of my life to be used by God in that capacity. I don't really sing or play my guitar anymore. I truly appreciate Phil Wickham and Brian Johnson for writing such awesome songs. I would love to be able to attend a song writing and worship leading conference with these 2 guys.

  3. I think one thing the secular music industry has over Christian music industry is there’s no way for Christian song writers to submit their songs to artists or churches. Imagine how many other Phil Wickham’s Are out there waiting for their message to be heard and there’s no way to deliver that

  4. I loved this! Thanks for sharing some of the stories and your process. I think the co-writing practice is a kingdom practice, and God reserves some of His best ideas for collaborative writing partnerships like what you are modeling. Thanks for sticking with it and letting us benefit from your joint creativity!

  5. Being a worship leader for over 40 years of my life it's inspiring to hear the two of you and get a glimpse of how songs are born. We are blessed by the gifts from God you share with the body of Christ.

  6. As an upcoming and aspiring worshipping leader, I found this to be so enriching and enlightening. Praise be to God for the Grace He has placed upon your lives and how He is using you to encourage the Saints. Much love for you my brothers . Grace and Peace be with you always ???

  7. "And on that day, we join the resurrection
We stand beside the heroes of the faith
With one voice, a thousand generations
Sing "Worthy is the lamb who was slain
    "Forever He shall reign"

Just wanted to let you know that this song really touched and healed my heart. Few months ago, my mom recently went to be with the Lord after decades of battling with cancer. I truly believe she is one of those heroes of the faith, singing and dancing before the Lord… as she did in heaven. My mom is a praying, dancing warrior of God. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful song to us. To God all the glory!

  8. It is…..encouraging, insightful. Thank you truly. Thank you to God for bringing me to spending this time with you and Brian Johnson,…for the first time becoming introduced to Brian Johnson; would hear of him in space and time at home in San Juan Capistrano, Ca.

  9. I loved Phil Wickham's songs but the fact that he is so closely associated with Bethel and all other false churches more than the other good ones makes me now stop listening to his covers and other stuff.

  10. Far from boring. Watching you two conversate about songs, songwriting and the process is amazing.
I have 2 daughters, 6 & 8, and Living Hope has been my eldest daughters favourite worship song since we first heard it in 2019.
I'm 36, I've only been going to church, attending Sunday services at Kings Church International UK and listening to worship music since December 2018 and it has transformed my life.
Finding Christ, going Church and worship music has saved me. ???????
    Hallelujah
    Amen
    Thank you God!
