I liked the song almost from the first second.
Cool! That’s how I felt too. Those rolling, rumbling drums and brass-
reminded me of another Staunton-Walker intro for Martha And The Vandellas’
“Never Leave Your Baby’s Side.”
Thank you very much!
Ain’t that the truth, Gillie! I like that the song is a sort of riddle. It
never comes out and says anything outright. It just shows that the people
at Motown were forever trying to expand the boundaries of what made for a
hit. Even if this were placed as strictly and album cut, it would make for
excellent listening.
This is brilliant !!…
Excellent soul edits!
This is from the Motown Anthology cd set and was previously un-released,
but excellent all the same. Glad you are enjoying the pictures! I’ve
recently bought some new ones and will be able to include them in upcoming
Kim Weston videos!
Don’t know this one by Kim ! thanks for shearing and ( I GOT GOOD NEWS )
you can’t go wrong with M.S. Weston ! P.S. Thanks for the pictures as
always a real treat.
