Turns out she was forced to record this terrible song by a rapper/pimp who makes a living out of heaping misfortune and simplistic lyrics on tweens 😉

Ok, see, I did say as much in the beginning–that it was these people at Ark Music just using her, pretty much.
But still….who let Miss Black actually record the tune in constant, non-stop autotune? Didn’t the girl or her parents have any say at all whatsoever in that? They had to have an early copy of the first recordings, right? They had to know the girl was sounding like a robot, and on purpose even.
Not to mention….all the autotune in the world doesn’t _add_ syllables the way Rebecca does. “Fri-day” is a fairly straight-forward sort of word I’d _Think_. Two syllables, only two full vowels, common day of the week, that sort of thing?
Who actually says it in four syllables (outside of India, thank you!)? Who says Fri-ee-day-ee?
See what I mean? Yes, it’s easy to blame the creepy old rapper/”songwriter” behind all this.
But the girl and parents were in on this, too. They could _Not_ have been that clueless. Right?
