When I was in my ‘teens,my girlfriends used to smile at my “quirky” passion
toward someone very far removed from their “loves” such as Elvis,Ricky
Nelson,Cliff Richard et al. Mine???….a rugged,craggy man….with just
“something”..who can ever explain individual “somethings” or “someones”
that bring about attraction,real or imagined?! Well,for me it was Charles
Bronson..yup,a bit odd for a teenager but I saw him in The Magnificent
Seven so the age-difference wasn’t too great,lol!….

Just had a third listening as I’ve written so much! It is lovely
stuff,indeed…and I really don’t mind that I may have been different to my
friends in my youth….I think my own little preferences had rather more

John,We have been very fortunate here in the north country…Monday night
we had heavy rain, quite windy conditions and wind gusts up to 40-50 mph
but we were spared from the havoc Sandy wreaked south/east of us…Thank

However,after that rather long-winded and seemingly unrelated comment…I
hope you can all see exactly what I mean now………rugged,craggy,handsome
man yet again. With a voice that is the opposite; gentle,mellow with songs
that match. He is very new to me,being recently “introduced” by Mark but
already,I can very well more than understand why he has such a following.
Meaningful lyrics,sung as such..I’ve seen some of his younger videos now
and he aged wonderfully. Lovely,all ages. K x
