Although nowadays you can purchase tracks online, I\u2019ve always made my own tracks for most of the songs we play. It\u2019s a lot easier than you think if you know the basics of song arrangement and what sounds to look for. This is the first of two videos where I share my tips and tricks of creating my own tracks from scratch.<\/p>\n<p>This video covers:<\/p>\n<p>1. Why I use GarageBand to create backing tracks<br \/>\n2. My favorite pad sound in GarageBand (and MainStage and Logic)<br \/>\n3. Using a low-pass filter on a pad sound<br \/>\n4. Using arpeggiators to define rhythm and drive<br \/>\n5.
