  1. Hmmmm. I dont know about your opinion about the drama. Because here in my country, Indonesia -, people dont know Joshua Basset, let alone Sabrina Carpenter. Disney Channel not even popular. Like South Korea with their own kpop dimension/kingdom, Indonesia have its own star and poppish culture. But it manages to be a big play/radio hit in here. I think its because the music nowadays that sounds too digitalize, auto tune-ish, etc, that makes the song kind of stand out when it was released.

  2. Finally someone said that… I mean the song is good but it's definitely a typical break up song… The fact that people are saying "this is relatable" and stuff… I can't really relate to it because I never went through a break up where I kinda defended my ex and kinda blamed the other girl(the blonde girl)… My breakups were more like that boy's a jerk and moving on… This song's kinda overplayed… But I do respect others opinion.

  3. WRONG
Sure the first 10 Million hits were because of the drama (other Disney artists songs max out at 5 Million),,,, But the next 100 Million hits on Drivers License were from people who dont know or care about the backstory nonsense, but just like a fantastic song

  4. The song is Anyone Else by Joshua Bassett. He's the guy she's singing about and Sabrina Carpenter is the blonde girl. Apparently Josh broke up with Liv sometime in 2020 and started dating Sabrina very quickly after that. No hate to any of them though.

  5. i respect your opinion, but the song shines on its own. on the day of the song release, people immediately created tik tok trends for it, and it had nothing to do with the drama. people got interested in the backstory AFTER because the song makes you feel a genuine connection to her, and a part of that makes people want to know who in the world hurt her. the song is constantly breaking records daily. no amount of drama can make people re-listen to a song that much.

  6. You sound so uninformed. Like your reaction is like reading Ariana Stan twitter. I suggest you watch professional musicians react to the song. 99/100 love it besides you, one even called it the perfect pop song and said it would blow up. Guess he was right. Most people listen and don’t even know about the drama. Lordes sister said the song was immaculate. So guess I will trust them over you. ??

  7. bad reaction hater vibes if you dont have anything good to say dont say things at all. its a girl putting her real feelings out in a song like everyone does so stfu ms pop singer wanna-be

  8. For a debut from a 17 year old girl I think this song is actually great. I really like her writing and this song is kinda a mix of Taylor Swift and Lorde to me. I got this song on repeat since I heard it and I'm interested what the future brings her 🙂
