Good music has no race.
This white artist thing that everyone is feeling threatened or proud of,
give it 10 years.
It’s a milking phase as with all things in life.
It will not matter anymore when album sales are not moving based on the
quality of the music.
Quality musicians who release constant quality will last forever black or
white.
I personally like to see that white musicians can produce the same beauty
that black artist do.
It points out to me that we are more the same than we feel we are. ?
Ledisi is so passionate about the art of what she does. Love seeing this
side of her!?
Thank God this conversation is being had. I love it. I love R&B and I will

R&B : A fan’s perspective
1. Grandparents Parents and kids listen to the same songs not each others
songs (look at Vine & Instagram) GMOM IS 35
2. It does not have the ear of the under 20 & college age
3. Limited amount of exposure to core audience
4. Syndicated morning radio #SameSongs
5. Payola
6. Corporate takeover/shelving/consolidating
7. Assembly line artists
8. More money in hip hop/ rap (look at the concert crowds)
9. Access to technology
10. Arts programs depleted from schools/neighborhoods
11. Closing of record stores
