    There was some informative information however, a lot of it was outdated. I ran into a lot of conflicting information once I reached out directly to the sources. This book has 2015 so I thought it would have the most up to date info in it but it did not. A little disappointed.

    This is very helpful for aspiring songwriters and professionals alike. It has a foreword written by a professional songwriter who has had numerous songs purchased. The listings are easy to read with specific guidelines. The more specific a listing the better I like it. So much better than trying to send songs over the transit without background info on the person/company you are querying (and really a waste of time). I know Artists hate rules, but one is really wasting their time and postage (which most of us cannot afford to do) if we send it to the wrong market for the genre of song, etc. I also plan to purchase many of the other helpful books they’ve listed in the foreword of this book. They have done most of the work for us, researching and sending queries about guidelines and desired genres/formats from the listed markets. Very helpful and great guide for musical Artists of all song genres.
