I guess Adele doesn’t make hit music.
As an artist, I caught alot of useful tips that can create that energy
needed for a hit. In a nutshell, what he is saying has alot to do with
everyday life: being well-polished, concise, connection with others (as
lame as it sounds). My friend, music is a part of life and I really see now
that the best music is the music that is done wholeheartedly.

What a croc! Here is the secret to writing a hit song! Captain Douche was
right about one thing, melody. But what he forgot to mention was Harmony! A
series of notes played in conjunction and in unisyn causes an effect on
emotions and psyche. There are other things that must be considered, but
the bottom line is harmony.
Anyone know what turntable that is?
Sounds too hard,I will keep writing shit songs.

This video makes me sad, music is art, if you tell someone how to make
their art it loses its soul, for example hip hop or pop music. Now compare
it to someone who does everything themselves and has an undiluted piece of
work stemming directly from their own creativity and nothing else, and you
get people who make real art, like Serj Tankian.
@JSnyder49428 Or Thom Yorke.
I like your style. You really helped me. I have been in music in an
amature/semi-pro way for a very long time and I am currently into recording
my own demos for my band to enhance my ideas but I am trying to make the
demos sound more like ‘proper’ recordings. Why not? if the song is good it
deserves it: even though it’s mainly only for 3 other sets of ears. Thank
you.
To create a hit today, merely search any ghetto alley. Find someone with
brain damage who likes to shout out obscenities revolving around his basic
needs (food, sex, aggression). Then, simply steal a repetitive beat/bass
line and have him shout over it. Make sure to create 6 or 7 ‘remixes’ to go
along with it.
this fucking shit
To write a hit pop song. 1. Write something cheesy, simple and easy to
remember 2. Sing like a prepubescent school boy and/or a slut. 3. Write
lyrics that appeal to younger audiences (13-25) or that deal with excess
(ie. drugs, sex, speed etc.) 4. Make the chorus simple, short and to the
point and repeat it a lot 5. Kiss ass 6. If you want to sound like justin
bieber, squeeze your balls until puberty reverses itself and you achieve
his signature squeeky whine.

Well I agree that quality is not a key to a hit song, albeit, it is one
aspect of the formula. As for harmony in rap, it is in all the top selling
rap songs. Look at the chorus segments, they have some type of
harmony..most of them, especially the rap/R&B songs. and as Nofatemetal
said “You have to kiss the right ass” that holds some water in alot of
cases.
If your vocals have to be in pitch, How is Taylor Swift getting away with
it?
