This is pretty much the same way I write as well. More than others, I tend
to write both the melody and the lyrics together. I guess it’s the
compliment one has over the other that helps me be genuine with what I want
to say with the song. Good stuff. ?

too deep in too it. You are right it’s as simple as that.

Good music or God notes are already there you can’t change them all you can
do is too find them. Haven’t you come across something cool when you were
doodling around with guitar? Well if you keep doodling you will find more
things a long the way. You have too dig in order too discover that certain
notes go together more then others. You just got too find the.
the thing is, I can write a song perfectly, Its quite easy in some
respects. Its getting it to the right people thats the issue. No one gives
a shit and I dont blame them, all these producers and record labels must
get so many demos sent to them etc its really really hard, but my goal is
to keep trying, keep at it and eventually maybe… when I’m 85 or something
it may pay off 😛
Buddy. Music is a science that’s got something too do with atoms and how
they are positioned and how they trigger chemicals inside our bodies. How
ever the more you dig inside your self with music the more you will
discover that beauty. How ever finding musicians like U2 down the street
just not that easy so a lot of rec companies have too turn garbage in too
gold some how in order to sell cause they have no choice in order too
survive that’s the truth but common sense as well.
One more thing Matt if it helps. Songs are already written you just have

No need to know no one. Once you produce something beautiful people will
come too you. Just because you know some one it does not mean that person
want’s too know you. Specially if you have nothing too offer them! Some
times you have too look at things from a different angle.
Real professional songwriters approach songwriting as a job. They are
always learning how to get better and take their songs to the next level.
If you can’t be an artist yourself, you must be able to write songs that an
artist would want to sing. Being a great musician isn’t that important.
Being a good business person and being able to say things different
lyrically is important.
Buddy before you experiment with music I suggest you try too learn how too
feel the music first. Experimenting is for Scientist not musicians. Lol.

what feelings are and before you advertise yourself with John Lennon at the
back Look at your self in the mirror and remove all that gear behind you
and stop acting like a scientist. Science is for Stephan Hawking and not

You can’t harass any one for anything. What your saying it’s like walking
in to a Wal mart and demand free food. They will call security. How EVER if
you have the money on you then you can have what ever you pay for. The same
with music. If you have the dough (music hooks) then you can get what you
want but if you don’t they will just kick you out unless they are
desperate. A & R aint stupid people they are just like me and we all speak
one language which lies below the waves of reality.

|Cornucopia of ideas,
I found the scenarios to be in the blues style of songwriting; some people may like that, some may not.
Scattered among the nuggets of ideas and inspirations were helpful recommendations for best low cost acoustic guitar, best introductory music recording software, best drum machine, and a list of other recommended books (I already own one of those recommended books and found it excellent, which gives me confidence in the author’s other recommendations.)
This book does not address what to do with your songwriting ideas and inspirations. It does not cover anything like song structure or how to turn ideas into actual lyrics. To be fair, that is not the stated purpose of the book.
I think this would be an excellent book for breaking out of writer’s block. Then get a songwriting book (which the author kindly provides recommendations for) to turn the ideas into developed lyrics.
