I have one big question .b4 I rap I usually have a concept with me no lyrics then I freestyle to the beat my freestyle lyrics are not perfect and then I take my imperfect lyrics and adjust it. is that a good way or I should just write first b4 anything?

I think that’s why I like artist that take the time to sit and write. People like young thug, migos, etc brag about never writing anything down, but a lot of their discography is the same topics recycled over new rhymes.
