  1. Hey guys! if you read this its prbably cause you want to write good songs! I am a singer songwriter based in Mexico City. I write a lot of songs in English and Spanish and work with lots of different genres. lets work together. I have a music studio and I can write and record and send over vocals, lyric ideas and BGVs design. I also have a lot of songs I’d like to pitch! LETS WRITE AND PITCH!

  6. Hi, I write lyrics, not music, but I just wanna say you HAVE to live your life. It's important to work on your writing constantly, but make daily/weekly sessions and live your life between them. Don't be scared to move a writing session around your schedule to make time to meet with friends and/or family, or engage in hobbies.
    Schedule your writing around your life, or else you'll find you don't have a life other than writing, which is not healthy

  9. Fk I really need to hear this. Im super stressed out. I wrote a bad ass song a few days ago but now im back on the drawing board trying to write another. Im irritated, angry, I feel like crying lol but I also realize im not a machine, I have feelings and Im not a computer that generates songs day after day hour after hour. I forget that the universe sorta hands it to you when you walk into a certain plain of existence, its not a magic trick, its not one element that creates everything, its sorta like a well made mixed drink, a mixture of all the elements needed for the song. 1. The feeling/Vibe. 2. The Groove of the song/tempo/. 3 The lyrics, the tension. 4. The intention – whats the point or is there no point of the song. I cant think of anything else right now, ugh I just want to finish a 10 song album but its easier said than done.

    Back in the earlier 90's, I played 6-string fretless bass.
    I never learned to write a damn note, but I could virtually play any song, though not technically perfect, it sounded more than decent.
    Now, I am not speaking about skill, as said, mine was mediocre.
    BUT!!! I had an incredible sense of rhythm, tones, and a formidable sense for music styles.
    While I could not read a damn note, I played rather darn good, if you forgot the technical imperfections.

    Point I am making: If you do not have sense for rhythm, tones or music styles?
    Then do something else, stay away from music.
    Just like I need to stay away from emo types… (Asperger's).
    If it doesn't feel right, then it won't ever work.

  23. 3:03 MANNN this hit hard i made a song once called "kawaii lives" i was CRYING because i was so damn proud of it…but after that i realised that i could not remake that amazing piece again. and to hear you say that makes me KNOW that others experience it and now im SO GOD DAMN MOTIVATED!!!!! THANK YOU MAN!!!!! TIME TO WRITE SOME SOME MUSIC!!!!!

  26. What worries me is when i post my new song and then others will say its sound like the song of this artist and then that artists fans will attack you for stealing the song when the reality is it came into your mind .
