Listen to this! There is a LOT in this!
That's Jimmy Webb ? I just wish he would stop showing off his reseaching, quoting great writers.. that soon got 'old' for me.
OUTSTANDING
David Bowie used the cut up method. So I can say some what a rewriter.
Julie Frost, you are on point on all your points.
I'm glad God is busy visiting him to help him write songs instead of helping all the people in trouble around the world…
It kind of seems like the blond was on acid that last night :3
Muy bien!
I wanna go this year
I feel INSPIRED … Think I'll go write a song about this one
Great advice!!
I love writing songs which people can relate to and since I'am a singer as well..I like sing something I like or better yet what I Love. If I get a track that I like from someone I'am working with a melody will directly show up-..sometimes my mind is not dead on with the feel, but the direction becomes apparrant once it lingers like that for several days. Thats when the song is worth rewriting as Ms.Garret pointed out. I do that till its done.I know when its done because it resonates with me.
i find my best lyrics make me cry just saying
The best songwriters are the rewriters-thanks for posting this video it can be very useful for young aspiring songwriters
Love this, thanks for posting!
I always like to use Irony and consistency, when i'm writing a song. It keeps things interesting and quite visual, if you also add good detailed-charactoristics!
