We dream of one day being able to do music as a career and be successful doing what we love to do. We have a vision and deep down we know what we’re capable of, but when the people we care most about don’t support our dreams it sucks. I know what it feels like to be told that you’re wasting your time by someone you look up to. Feeling discouraged and filling your head with doubt is the fastest way to watch your dreams go down the drain. So what can you do to change their mind and make them believe in you? Well you might not be ready to hear the answer to that question…

  1. this guy is on some kind of drug, what he is saying is all the same bullshit that the next guy is saying, i did not get anything from this video. what did he actually say, the only thing missing in the back ground is picture of big house ,Lamborghini , speed boat, and vacation phamplet

  2. Thank you for the video and the insightful advice but I do have one question. We all know there are delusional people (like some Dunning-Kruger effect examples) who think they're good at something that they might not be built for no matter how hard they try.. So how do I know if I'm actually good at something if people around me hesitate to be direct and honest with their critique?

  3. I want to take the leap so freaking bad man! I know what I have is life changing! And I know I’m good enough I’ve got two boys that look up to me and I want to give them something to look up too! I’ve been working a crap job for 5 years now and I swear that place makes me cringe not because of the work but because I know I’m waisting my time and life away I’ve just gotta jump but it feels like my feet are welded to the ground! How do I get past this point! Because no one that I love believes me

  4. Thank you for reminding me to stop worrying about what others think and Just Do It like Nike! I'd say my dream is to make metal music for video games like Mick Gordon (if you haven't heard of him, look up Doom 2016 Soundtrack)
