ABOUT
The HOOKED! Songwriting Contest produced and hosted by Prince Ivan brings together ten amazing up and coming songwriters with celebrity judges and a live audience in one entertaining and interactive American Idol-style show.
HOOKED! Songwriting Contest is searching for American’s next hit song. Hit songs come in every style, genre and variety. HOOKED! is all about that diversity, so whether you write country, pop, gospel, folk, hip hop or anything else; whether you’re young or a little more seasoned; whether you’re looking for your big break or just looking to make a little extra cash – this songwriting contest is for you.
DETAILS
– All genres and all ages (12 & up) are welcome to submit songs for this songwriting contest.
– Submissions deadline is April 1, 2022 at 11:59 pm.
– Top Ten finalists will be selected, notified and announced on April 9, 2022.
– The Top Ten will get to take the Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater stage on April 23, 2022 in front of the celebrity judges and a live audience for the chance to win the HOOKED! Songwriting Contest championship.
– All proceeds benefit the Branson-Hollister Senior Center.
PRIZES
– 1st Place = $500 cash prize, a one-song recording package, the prestige of being a HOOKED! champion + more
– 2nd Place = $200 cash prize + more
– 3rd Place = $100 cash prize + more
