  1. Lee Mavers from The La's was a genius. Sadly after one amazing album he walked away because he hated the music industry and was a perfectionist who could never quite find the authentic sound he wanted when he was in a studio.

  3. i about shit myself when you started off the list with Kurt Cobain, and let John Prine and Guy Clark roll by on the ticker tape of honorable mentions. i damn near turned the video off and went to bed. But i was just too damn curious as to who your top pick was. So i waited. For the simple fact that you had Hank at #3, Dylan at #2, and Townes Van Zandt at #1…. you’re OK in my book.
