  1. I think the point of the vid is that she’s an empowering woman(a president) but that she’s also like, loves her lover that she’ll do anything for him/her
    And the “cooking in the kitchen and in the bedroom) seems to me, that it means she’ll be helping him with his needs, but that she’s still willing to you know, get dirty.
    And even tho this sounds kinda unfeminist, the overlying theme is that she’s president, a person that pretty high up in the ranks….I don’t know if this is clear if it’s not please tell me to explain ?

  2. I couldn't agree more with your comment about keeping things simple – a lot of musicians/songwriters over-complicate songs by trying to add too many layers or instruments. The mark of a good songwriter is knowing when not to add a note or a lyric and to just let the song breathe!
