The first time I ever played from a chord chart was at church. I was about 14 years old. The band needed a piano player and the worship leader knew that I played the piano.

Up until that point, I had only played classical music. So when he handed me a chord chart and told me to play, I was pretty freaked out.

  11. You have no idea what you just did for me. My mother had all 7 kids learn piano. I just could not read. At age 30 I found out I had dyslexia. I could play guitar and drums. But I could never read and play at the same time. I don’t cry easy. But watching you on how easy it was I started crying crying. May the Lord God bless you and your family.

  30. new to this Channel With Guitar for Vets and simply Piano . Suffer Bad PTSD . I know Middle C and F Position . Can Play 7 right handed chords strugglng with left handed chords . ANY Suggestions ?
