FILM DESCRIPTION:
Jack Malik is a struggling singer-songwriter in an English seaside town whose dreams of fame are rapidly fading, despite the fierce devotion and support of his childhood best friend, Ellie. After a freak bus accident during a mysterious global blackout, Jack wakes up to discover that The Beatles have never existed. Performing songs by the greatest band in history to a world that has never heard them, Jack becomes on overnight sensation with a little help from his agent.

  1. I think the two people who remember them is one of the most terrifying aspects of the movie. Can you imagine waking up one day, and The Beatles no longer exist and no one remembers them. Then imagine you are not a musician and cannot recreate them and have only your memories of the songs?

  2. I love how Ed momentarily glances at the audience to see a reaction right before he applauds. The look on his face says it all. He got the idea quicker than anyone in the room and it just shows his genius as a song writer, knowing what a good song is. You can almost see him cry like he just heard the greatest song ever, and it was. (In this movie at least)

  3. One thing I always love about movies that feature artists or a plethora of their music is it always makes me want to consume more.

    I listened to the beatles before, but I never fully heard all of their best songs til I watched this. Gives more of an appreciation. Also, theres some songs that are hard to cover even though they're simple, this is one of them and it's quite beautiful
