  2. My favorite is tis the damn season, and I have named Dorothea's lover "Sunny." (Depending on how much you want to lean into the lover's masculinity or femininity, it might also be spelled Sonny or Sunnie or Sunni.)

  3. So happy to find this! Love the evermore love. Did you do this with folklore as well? Just delightful. So much to discuss, this album.

I think another theme of this album is ships/water. She uses this in several songs. Gold Rush isn’t my fave song on evermore but I love how she can make one chance encounter snd a daydream into one song. And the ships reference, also could be viewed as a literary reference to the sirens that lure ships in only to wreck them, so inviting. She’s so tempted to jump in following those eyes like the ships following the sirens. I love this so much.

    Evermore is such a masterpiece.

  4. Thank you for the interesting episode! I enjoyed it. Oh, I love evermore. A masterpiece, again. I don't want imagine a life without "no body, no crime" anymore. I love this song so much. Really, this is my personal masterpiece on evermore. ???
