  1. Songwriting is storytelling. Finding melodies includes finding the beat . I always have a picture in my head . I visualize the scene and or the story . One never knows when those triggers of thoughts will pop up . A certain orchestra song , or a movie might ignite your brain . I never listen to anyone else’s material. Once you embrace that endless universe, you are wonderfully caught . So the writing will never stop . Be aware of color around you . Be aware of your senses . Endless pieces of paper are now in your orbit …at the piano in drawers, notebooks and folders . Words become alive …words float on your head . It’s an amazing
world. If you don’t have to work and devote all to writing .. your world is yours . My quitar is my best friend , the piano is luxurious. Writing songs is a talent . I write lyrics and melodies. It’s heaven .

  2. not a good video, unless i turn off the volume and just look at the pretty girl. otherwise its amateur. Boys and girls, songwriting is just melody over chord progression. Now go online and find a chord progression website, make a 4 progressing chords and then record it. then find the "key" or notes that fit each chord. then record that. then fine tune to find the fewer but "juicer" notes. Thats your melody. Now find a verse melody and a chorus melody. then add supporting voices …answer, call responses, transitional licks.
