Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival

The annual Tin Pan South  Songwriters  Festival is coming up at the end of March in Nashville Tennessee. The Nashville  Songwriters  Association International (NSAI) is sponsoring the 19th annual festival. It is one of the most popular Nashville Events.

The  songwriters  festival is to honor those  songwriters  and celebrate song lyrics and music lyrics that they create. Song lyrics music lyrics and  songwriters  have a tremendous influence on our day to daily lives.

Some songs have a strong influence on our lives. Many people say that songs have actually changed their perspective on life. Have you ever been riding down the road and hear a song that reminds you of your mom, one of your children or your best friend? Songs bring back memories that are important to us.

The  songwriters  who write these songs play an important role in the world today. They should be recognized for their song lyrics and music lyrics. The Nashville  Songwriters  Association International (NSAI) is doing just that.

The festival will have hit  songwriters  performing all genres of music in nine different venues though out Nashville. These venues change from year to year and all of them are great places to hear great music and get good food.

Belcourt Taps & Tapas is a charming new place to dine at and enjoy listening to music. It is located in the popular Hillsboro Village.

The Bluebird Cafe is a must see when you visit Nashville. Bluebird is known for helping start the careers of many country artists including Garth Brooks, Kenny Chesney, Trisha Yearwood, Kathy Mattea and Taylor Swift. It is located on Hillsboro Road in Nashville.

The Commedore Grill on West End Avenue in Nashville has live entertainment Tuesday through Sunday. They serve a good breakfast and dinner.

Douglas Corner Cafe was created for new singers and  songwriters  in Nashville to have a place to come and play a few song chords and lyrics.

The Hardrock Cafe in downtown Nashville remodeled their restaurant last year. They added a second floor with a state of the art music venue.

The Listening Room Cafe is a great restaurant with a music venue for live entertainment.

Puckett’s 5th and Church is a good place to get some southern cooking with live entertainment. It is a popular downtown Nashville restaurant.

The Rutledge Live Music Venue was designed just for entertainers. It is just a block away from the Country Music Hall of Fame and in walking distance of other downtown Nashville attractions.

Station Inn is a great place to hear some old fashioned bluegrass music. They have really good food too.

There will we two shows held each night. This is a very popular event in Nashville. Close to 10,000 people attend this event each year. There will be about 350 talented  songwriters  performing in more than 80 shows. Some of the  songwriters  you will hear may be famous stars. Last year Trace Atkins was one of the performers. The list of performers has not come out for this year.
