Ralph Murphy shares Songwriting Tips with Michael Raine of MusicBooksPlus.com. The iconic songwriter, musician, and record producer’s songs have been covered by the likes of Shania Twain, Randy Travis, and Ronnie Milsap, and breaks down what a “hit song” entails.

Murphy has been successful for five decades, consistently charting songs in an ever-changing musical environment. Add to that the platinum records as a producer, his widely acclaimed book, “Murphy’s Laws of Songwriting,” his success as the Publisher and Co-Owner of the successful Picalic Group of Companies, and you see a pattern of achievement based on more than luck.

From making sure to reference the track’s title within 60 seconds to staying linear with your story, Ralph draws from his decades of experience in the music industry to help developing songwriters get a stronger grasp on the art of writing.
