I love both Meatloaf and Constantine, but I have to say, this duet sounds
completely unrehearsed. For shame. They are both awesome in my book, but
Meat Loaf’s voice completely overpowered Constantine and it didn’t sound
like they were even singing the same song. I AM very happy to see Jim
Steinman receiving accolades though. He is by far my favorite songwriter.
Maybe this is what Meat should be doing. Duets. Let someone else carry the
vocal load, and let Meat’s emotion and the sound of his voice come through.
This is actually the best I’ve heard Meat sound in a while.
