    Michael Martin Murphey is a real student of the west, an honest historian, a marvelous music man, and a fine horseman. They do not come any more genuine than Murphey. He is a song writer as well as the top cowboy singer in America. This is a wonderful collection of great cowboy songs.

    If you love to hear and understand the words and the stories put to music, this is the CD to own. Murphey at his best in the west.
