  1. You must really hate Reaper 🙂

I get your argument that you use PT because that's what you know, but if you're gonna switch it up, I really can't see a reason (sic!) not to go with Reaper, unless you have a free full version of Reason just laying around.

  2. I agree simplicity is all good, but it takes some real tricks and out of the box techniques to make computerized drum loops and DI guitar tracks sound appealing. Simple is good, but when you keep boring drumloops simple, that's all they're gonna be :/

  3. Same here Graham. Thats exactly my "Go-To" Principle is; The K.I.S.S. (Keep it Simple, Silly) especially when things start attempting to get Complex. I use this as my "Plummet Line". Especially when Building anything.

  4. One chord… LOADS of notes. Even bends and quarter-tones :-/

Let's hear a song with only one note, I'd like to hear it…

  5. when i p;ay my guitar it sounds ok but when i record it it changes to real thin sound im using a sm57 marshall dsl100h into focusrite18i20 with studio one why does my sound change so much

  6. Thanks for this lesson Graham! You've helped a lot in my mixes! Hoping I could improve over time after watching your videos and lessons =) ! Christian here too, God bless !

  7. Your music is disgusting to listen to, (horribly sterile and structured, not authentic). But you are good at explaining reality and truths about writing, which is cool/weird?. The fact is, awesome music is not written by people like you, that look like you. Good music is written by poor, fucked up people. It's not your fault.
