The D.C. native revealed that she doesn’t have a must-have list when it comes to songwriting, but says that she loves connecting with the other people she’s collaborating with while drinking a bottle of wine.
The conversation then turns to her working with Pharrell, and Mya adds that she’s so proud of his current success. She also details working with him while in the studio with Beenie Man, and shares a story about going to festivals with Beenie in Jamaica.
