  1. MEIN?I wonder if this is all the conflict I heard about during the recording of SNW?? Either way, I gotta say it came out sooo fkn good one it’s of my favorite albums ever

  2. You make sense to a person that knows nothing about playing an instrument, like myself. I feel like it’s possible for me to play at least like chino, lol.

  3. I remember the first time my friend said the word deftones I couldn’t get the word out of my head we where just casually talking about music and I asked what he was listening to and he said “ deftones dude you gotta listen to deftones.” It’s weird because I was only 14 at the time and just listening to pop punk and some metal this shit changed so much for me as far as music goes. Love this band love this guitarist such good music!

  4. I feel like maybe the reason why Chino chops up the takes is because he thinks like a beatmaker. being that he grew up on hip-hop it makes sense since rappers are always tweaking instrumental arrangements to fit a specific take that they probably have in their mind

  5. I prefer Stef's version. So much unused material from that album. The Bob Erzin demos luckily leaked ages ago. Finger of Death is one I wish would've made it. Stef's riff is fucking KILLER! Makes me wanna punch a baby and throw it at a grandma to make her trip!

  6. Same thing with Tool and many other bands – But I guess the vocalist really needs to be the last layer…
Guitarist/Songwriter will always battle with Vocalist/Songwriter
