  1. you're a British? ?
And I've been watching all your videos thinking that you're American ?
    good to know.
love love love you @hannah ??

  2. The video was pretty helpful hannah 🙂 i have been learning and playing guitar since 5 years now and have been trying to write my own song but most of the times it sounds like a nursery rhyme lyrics wise..:p

  3. Thank you Hannah that is good and thoughtful advice. I love you sense of humour by the way. Tea breaks, coffee breaks, snack breaks and roast dinner breaks! Lol!

  4. My tips: Start inventing the riffs and intro, then melody… the refrain has to be catchy so try to make it that way. The bridge part is not that hard – this should be a transition from the first part of the song to the catchy refrain. Lyrics comes last, and it can be experimented with different themes and rhymes. The mood and the beat of your song will determine what sort of lyrics you are going to use. You can't simply have sad song with fast beating rhythm, feel free to find the right words, phrases and sentences. Use your heart and feeling, follow the flow of your emotion. Give it a go, happy writing songs!

  5. omg thank you so much for this! I've been playing the piano since I was 7 and I've been trying these days to write my own song. Your advice was so helpful thank you.

  6. One of the things I like to do is watch movies or read when I have writer's block. I always find some kind of inspiration based on the storyline that I can draw from and combine with my own experiences.
