23. Ok this is a great video but for anyone who is a beginner, I have some stuff that I wish I knew sooner that needs to be explained to y’all.
    First of all, I can’t express how IMPORTANT music theory is. Most beginners don’t want to learn because they think it’s boring or som. It will dramatically improve your skills. If you can understand wwhwwwh for a major scale, you’ll be able to apply that for any instrument. Being consistent is very important as well. You’ll never improve if you don’t have fun and push yourself. Learn barre chords! Don’t be scared to try knew things. It’s always going to sound crappy at first no matter how experienced you are. The more you work on the song, the more ideas and the better it’ll sound. If you want to sing, you need to learn vocal control and lifting your soft palate, breathe control and there so much other stuff. Playing with a metronome will help you transition between chords faster and stay on tempo. Take lessons! Whether it’s with a friend or a teacher. They can help you get where u want to be. Buying new equipment won’t make you sound better unless you know how to produce/mix. Don’t waste your money. Just have fun with music and know that everyone learns at different paces! Push yourself to be better but be healthy with it! Don’t drain yourself. I hope you guys understand what I said and want to be creative. I’ve been working on music for 4 years but really started improving in the past few months. You got this!

I also want to take singing lessons but I'm only 15 and i have asian parents who (i feel like) don't really believe in me so I'm gonna have to wait till i can pay for my own lessons ??

    but then I'm scared that maybe it's too late for me to start and get better in singing and learning instruments

31. I am 14 years old, I live in a small Central American country called Belize. I am a big history fanatic (No I'm not a Wehraboo or Commieboo or anything similar, I already went through those phases.) And I've noticed many nations have patriotic songs/music, but my country barely has any of those, that make u feel that sensation of fighting for ur country at least, so I want to try to make my own, no matter the years it takes me. If I'm being honest I myself am not too patriotic to my nation, but I still have the urge to get into this project, so yea I'll try my best.
