In order to get better at songwriting, it’s super important to break down the huge skill of “songwriting” into its many subskills. “Songwriting” is such a massive and generic skill, that it’s hard to improve at songwriting in general without specifically targeting different songwriting subskills to practice.
This video is about breaking down the skill of songwriting into a bunch of different sub-skills so we can become better songwriters by specifically practicing the subskills. The concept is inspired by talent stacking from Scott Adams, creator of the Dilbert comic. I’d highly recommend checking him and his talent stacking concept out!
