  1. This is exactly how I ??! Have to be in alignment! Building a vocal chain and mixing as you go sets the tone and really makes the song come alive! It’s such an intimate experience and when it feels right you’ll know because that emotion will come through your body. For me when I find my words my eyes will start to draw tears and that’s when I know there’s no opposition and it works! Beautiful voice love!!!!! ?

  2. Wait a minute, I'm confused and trying to understand how this was made. You two are remotely connected looking to the same screen, a guy is doing a VO for a puppet, I have so many questions, LOL.

How is he controlling the DAW and a puppet at the same time? Is there a third person? How is the remote recording session made?

There are multiple pieces of engineering just in this video per se. Genius shit buddy. Genius shit!!

  3. i know im a couple years late to the party.. but I LOVE seeing the collaboration process! been playing and writing rock, country, jam, funk, etc.. for decades but have been a big EDM fan the whole time too. this video gives me a ton of inspiration, and a LOT of questions too! im a complete noob to edm production. i do have a DAW (cubase), but have no idea where to start with instrument plugins (drums, synths, etc..) yall work great together!

  4. 03:50 – boring melody, last line should be going low. The process is wrong, singer should be left alone in the room listening the looped music 1000 times, letting the feel through herself fully, to let the best melody be created inside….the way you are doing it on this video is too fast and it only gives you basic melody impressions, this is why the whole thing is so…mediocre. It has good moments but far from what could have been done. Give it MUCH more time to ripe in you and the outcome will be better.
And before that, a decent songwriter never chooses a stock chord progression to start with. If you wanted to show the process of songwriting, you should have included the part when you find out the cords yourselves. Writing a chord progression is not like this – when a bore-faced princess says "i like this" while texting on her phone…
You have to give more respect to your music guy, the girl behaves like a princess, in the studio during songwriting everyone is (should be) equal. You need human interactions in the studio and chemistry, friendship, this is the way you are having fun and write top quality music. What we are looking at here looks like a business cooperation between 2 strangers (and one of thewm thinks she is more valuable than the other).
