  1. I’m not gonna lie, I was really down in life, but I was driving down a road by myself crying and depressed and this song came on the radio. I know God meant for it to turn on at that time when I was there, because it’s changed my life. I am now a born again Christian. Thank you.

  2. Blessed is the one who does not …sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord”. Psalm 1
In case there’s anyone here, who is actually a believer, there’s a fine line between us laughing it ourselves – and mockers getting believers to join them. This video does the latter.

  3. My issue with worship music is that the lyrics are so shallow. When they make an analogy, for instance, it’s so generic.
Enterprises like Hillsong are just that: enterprises. Listen to “S.M.C.” by Project 86. That describes what many megachurches prioritize. They tell you that if you feel something, it must be the Spirit of God flowing through you, when it’s really just joyous emotions induced by the music.
If you’re looking for Christian music with truly deep lyrics, try “Fear is Not My Guide” or “Praise the Void” by Demon Hunter.

  4. This is HILARIOUS!!! ? Church music is the easiest stuff to write. It's like church themed mad libs but with chord progressions and repeating choruses until they feel profound to vulnerable people. No wonder the church passes around the donation basket during these kinds of songs ? it's brainwashing
