  1. Waiting is tough but quite useful I'm going to incorporate the sleep on it mentality cause I usually finish a song and consider it done and post it but after I hear things small things I could've improved on and learn from it and apply it to the next song. I from now on will sleep on it and come back with fresh ears so I catch the small stuff I miss die to ear fatigue! Thanks for the advice I know my music will improve greatly from this simple but wise advice appreciate it and good luck with the channel and music 🙂

  2. Great Tips! Thanks! Me and all of us know it all…But good tip is good for repetition once more…You have clear articulation!

  3. Ah thanks a lot for these tips. I've been using my phone to record myself humming melodies and sleeping between sessions for about a week now and I'm feeling more productive than ever!

  4. OR! Make sure your distractions are at least productive, i.e., practicing violin scales while listening to a video about songwriting/production tips.

    Cheers!

  5. Great Tips.
Funny though that he talks about getting distracted by the social networks and stuff and i'm sitting here watching this video…. ^^

  6. Great tips mate. I find for me the tips on having your logistics in place and the tip about giving your tracks some resting time and reviewing them after a day or two work the best.
The tip about having food and drinks(maybe even cigarettes, if you smoke) on hand was something I had picked up from one of Rusko's production classes.
Though these are some very general tips and not specifically technical, they really help you to be comfortable and in the correct state of mind to make great music.
    Thanks for sharing Dorincourt 🙂

  7. Good tips, thanks for sharing. If you haven't seen it already, you might like John Cleese's old video on the subject of creativity. It's half an hour, but I found it interesting to hear this very creative and funny writer talk about some tips that he thinks can help creative people be more efficient in their work habits. The title in youtube is "John Cleese talks about what is creativity and how to stimulate it".WARNING: quite a few "how many XXX does it take to change a lightbulb?" jokes
