  2. Hi, Thanks for this video it helps!
Quick question: I am confuse with the "vii°", I have the chord progression map but I don't see where you can go from the ii to the vii° ?? or is it the VII that is in the green circle at the left of the iiim and I should assume that is the vii° from the Major scale ??
    Thanks

  4. this is seriously the most "easy put" teaching method for chord progression theory. Even knowing all of these rules before watching this video, this series has helped me organize all of this information and effectively get out of this song writing block i've run into. Thank you! Cheers

  6. Great video! Just a question regarding inverting the chords. After you've created a chord progression, with all the chords being in their root position, are you then allowed to invert the chords in anyway you like? Or are there some rules and limitations when it comes to this?

  7. Hey man great video as always. What do you think when in song writing you use a chord that does not follow the chord progression chart? nor is that chord a "substitute" of the options. e.g. going I-iii-ii-V, wherein ii isnt "supposed" to follow iii? Do we always have to follow the chart? Or do we have the freedom to bend its rules sometimes?
