  1. oh god. the part where she said that she thought if she released an album that everyone would suddenly understand her. unfortunately, being candid means showing off all of the lingering fat that sticks onto you. and not everybody can swallow down all that gummy, chewy fat. it's as simple as that…keep around the dogs that can eat up the meat, and the fat with a grin on their face and wagging tails

  2. YES!!! this is why I love her, she speaks her mind. not only is she sexy, she's Extremely intelligent. Fiona, you are easy on the eyes and hard on the heart. love you gorgeous.

  3. I'm actually really glad she has these huge gaps between albums. Because all of her albums truly are fantastic pieces of work. There are a lot of artists who put out album after album and many of them don't sound as fleshed out as they should be. Fiona, being a perfectionist, doesn't leave no stone unturned when writing an album. Thus, it takes forever. For fans, it can be a little daunting at times. But for me, I'd rather her take those huge gaps and then come out with a total masterpiece than put out an album every year or two and they pale in comparison to her previous work.

  4. One of my favorite lines is "what would an angel say – the devil wants to know?" — because this questions the fact that the devil was actually an angel to start with…it also implies that the devil is willing to take on the role of an angel to get their way. It implies a lot. You remind me a lot of Tori Amos – in a number of ways. I wonder what would happen if you and Tori started to write lyrics and music together.

  5. Not everybody is a performer..And the performer gets dragged along with you through your career..The song is going to sound like Michael Jackson.. The Jackson 5..Somewhere over the rainbow.. It's different instruments.. Srtinged instruments.. And so they study Astronomy and that makes everybody more intelligent than we are..Just study Astronomy..

  6. Wow, honestly – she's a talent, but what she mentions, and what Tarantino calls the god antenna – it's called flow, and there are a lot of creative tools to help flow, she's talking about what we all have – haplessness with time being so precious.

  7. I agree with her that as a artist and especially in the music industry, you shouldn't be forcing it to just keep releasing music quickly like one cd after another to try and stay in the spotlight. Cause that just sounds like the recipe of how alot of crappy music gets made. Sounds like no room to grow and go through experiances which is important for songwriting, and even the creative process of like experimentation like different sounds or instruments and such. But she's also a super talented songwriter, musician, and singer too where people will wait for it
