Some fantastic ideas and practices, some which I've used myself with great success and others I know to be popular amongst other successful writers. However, always important to remember this won't work for everyone. Listening to your inner voice, your gut, etc. is absolutely crucial above all else. What she says in the very beginning about keeping copious notes – "song seeds" – and being observant of not only the world around you but also the world inside your head is the best advice of all.
