  1. So, you don't believe there are such things as standards and quality? One song is equal to another? I guess you're right – if you want to eat a piece of garbage off the ground and call it a steak, who am I to argue? Enjoy your Jack White "music". Sorry for trying to open your eyes.

  2. I too have high standards, and i wont settle for less. but i'm not going to deride musicians just because i don't care for their music. i'm not gonna feed my ego by saying i listen to "Real Music" when its really just the music that i Myself enjoy. Here's my opinion, i believe that music (like art) is about expressing thoughts, and a persons attitude.
very few people can create Meaningful yet catchy music.
Brandan and Jack are some of the very few who can do this.
    True artist's really…

  3. Music doesn't work that way, there is no "Better Things Out There" that's just some bullshit way of saying "My Tastes are better then yours!" as you suggest something You believe is Real Music. in realty,if people like you don't like a song or artist you just label it ''Not Real Music" and be on your marry way. but for some reason you decided to stop and make a comment…Music is Art, and can either be enjoyed or ignored,
you're no better then a troll if you stop to make condescending remarks.

  4. Some people enjoy a great meal while others enjoy McDonald's. Enjoy your McDonald's – I'm not trying to take that away from you. I'm just pointing out that there ARE better things out there. These things may take time and effort to appreciate, but they are worth it. I'm sorry if you feel I've insulted your opinion, but I have strong requirements for quality music. JW's music is a fake, cartoonish, white version of blues. His egotistical personality only makes the whole package insufferable.

  5. Opinions vary, and you're entitled to yours just as i am to mine.
however, you've just insulted mine and others taste in music in favor of your on. i question the knowledge you tried to flex in your comments, and would like to rule in that you are an immature individual for condemning others for enjoying something that you dislike.

  6. BB is a great songwriter in the classic mold, but Jack White is a pretentious cartoon. He's never written any songs half as good as BB's. He's an obnoxious "personality" like Paris Hilton. If you like MUSIC, you will appreciate BB and ignore Jack White.

  7. Okay, I probably should have searched before asking – got it from the lyrics – 'You dont Understand Me'. The live versions available here on YT dont live up to the promise of the one shown here. But will definitely listen to more them.

No you cant shoot her just because you dont like her voice. What if i shot you because i dont like your comment, thats not how it works. You are the type of dirty person who starts wars.

  9. @saybyebye22 Dude, I don't even remember why I put that comment on here haha. But sorry man, I guess I was wrong even though you said yourself the album came out in 2006, even if it was early 2006.

  10. How has a comment saying Jack White and Brendan Benson are the modern day Lennon and McCartney got 73 thumbs up?!?! What a pile of horseshit! They're good but sweet Jesus in heaven that's a bit of an overstatement

  11. @Groove1993 I have to agree that the good White Stripes tracks are much better than the Raconteurs tracks, but the Raconteurs have some very beautiful songs. So I won't ever judge Jack White for going commercial or anything like that, because selling out does not deliver songs like Call It A Day, Yellow Sun, Old Enough etc. Sure, Steady, As She Goes can be seen as quite commercial, but no more so than Seven Nation Army (they are quite similar songs). Either way Jack is God
