In this video I share some philosophies about why lyrics are so important to songs and particularly to the process of songwriting. Line by line, I break down my own process writing the lyrics for my song “Life on Earth”.

Understanding some of the less obvious reasons why lyrics are so key to songwriting will help you write songs that resonate and hopefully, stand the test of time.
