  1. Hey thanks so much for this. Think I found my first possible girlfriend and she's really into songwriting, wanted to write a song for her (ik love songs are massively overdone) but this definitely helps.

  2. Do you have any examples of lyrics that you have written for songs that I can listen to? Or is this your theory of how to write great lyrics? Honestly, I'm not trolling you, it would mean a lot more to me to be getting advice from someone that has written songs that touch me inspire me. Thank you.

  3. Crazy coincidence. I've been listening to 21 Pilots all week, studying their lyric writing style…then I happen to watch this video for the for first time and I see you have a how to write lyrics like 21 Pilots course. Crazy! I'm going to take it!

  4. P T K and way. Check out how those first 3 consonants and the "way" sound has been used throughout pop music history. I think it's a great starting point to reverse engineer pop hits to understand what sounds (and how they progress within verses) work. Also, check out how lyricists build up to the OW sound (as in the word now) and sometimes how lyricists connect words or sounds from a verse with sounds from the chorus.
