Ever thought about making a song like Coldplay, Oasis or Tracy Chapman? Look no further. Songwriting Guitar Vol. 1 is a sample tool made for songwriters, composers and producers that needs instant- and authentic guitar strums and licks. We analyzed a variety of top 40 rock- and pop songs and identified the most common chords and chord progressions.

Songwriting Guitar contains all the essential chords needed to sketch down or build an entire song. The library contains three different types of guitars (acoustic, electric clean and electric distorted) played in the four most common rhythms used for song writing. All you have to do is to hold down a single key (ex. C) and the tool will play the songwriting chord related to the key. The library fully follows the tempo of your host sequencer and also has a variety of FX (ex. delay, lofi, distortion, flanger, phaser, cabinet) build in that can be triggered instantly from your keyboard.. 1. I have a question, it is possible to build my own chords?, i mean, for example to set up the string and the position on the neck that i want.

  2. Good question – and the answer is YES. We did an update that contains both Major and Minor chords – look for 8Dio Songwriting Guitar 2.0 on Youtube, which is the current version of the library.

  3. Does this have other type of chords too? Like augmented etc? I always use these type of chords alongside the basic ones, to make things a little less predictible. The idea of this is pretty much the same as virtual guitar by steinberg, but i really feel limited if it does not contain more chord types. I totally *love* phrase-build vsti's because they tend to mimic the actual playing-style instrument much better, but I'd like to be able to use all my prefered chords

  4. Do you have a date for the minor chord release? Will it be a free update? Without minor chords, the product is an excellent idea with … a huge gaping hole in it. 🙂 Sorry…
