  5. While i was watching this, i was trying to think about what song i should write and i came up with a song about things that'll never change in the world. Im not a very good singer and am very self conscious but i really need someone to judge it once i finish it before I post it on my channel.

  22. I just want my song to be about the reality of the world because let’s just be honest, we all used to think the world was such a good place when we were little but now, we see racism, rapists, different deceases and viruses we can’t cure, and lots of deaths at a young age almost everyday….

  25. nice try, but – what a pity. i have never, never seen and heard somebody who is capable to teach the arts and crafts of writing good lyrics. maybe because there are so very few good writers. the big amount of what hobby songtexters are able to deliver is more or less crappy.
    in my opinion it's the most difficult part in songwriting. there a so little good lyric writers and even less who are interested in sharing their knowledge. it's always the same techniques: freewriting, finding good rhymes, pick only one theme and stay with it, find good imagery, show, don't tell …etc .. and so on. i've seen it all sure a hundred times.
    there are much more musicians who are good in giving tips in instrumental playing tipps, music history, harmonic theory … maybe there isn't something like "the right technique" or a kind of grid you can apply. maybe it is just talent – either you've got it or you do not. or it is the sheer amount in writing. the hard way – doing it as often and much as possible. and don't get frustrated of bad output (what is a real challenge). just go on muddling through.
